TAPING of "Knitty Gritty"

YES YES Finally, today was day of taping the show "Knitty Gritty" I was waitting for so long time to be on the show, it's finally here today! I talked about the KNITTY GRITTY show last post,..if don't know the show please check here:

Talking about the taping the show: I was on day of first show, 8:30 show..Usually, three episode
30 min show everyday.

I get up at 5AM and ready in hour, drive to the studio by 7:00AM. when i open the studio, other knitter are waitting for me.

Today's theme of the show was "Men Who Knit and the Dogs Who Love Them" - Wearable for dog and men...project from designer Annie Modesitt and Drew Emborsky(aka "The Crochet Dude")'s new coming book "Men Who Knit and the Dogs Who Love Them" Project was this:

They send me the 6 skien of "Malabrigo"yarn before week to start the hat or sweater(I was kintting the hat)..you can see the pic here

Before 30min from taping the show, staff did my face touch up and install micophone
into back of body......

Ready and walk to the stage and three big shooting camera and lights waiting for me!!
Stage was great!!!! It was really big, bigger then the living room! It looks so small when i was watching through the tv.

Now sitting on the stage, i got a little nervous also this is my first time on the TV show also great feeling...

As knitster on the show, our job was (me and two lady) sitting on stage knitting hat or sweater and talk on opening of first and taping and anwering the Q. host "Vickie Howell" ask...

I was working on hat pattern: This!!!

We didn't do lot of talking, I think each of knitster did 3min anwering Vickie's Q. The show was about the dog so we took a shot with the dog.. It took us more time to taping...you know moving anmai,, It's not standing still...So we go over many time but it was not that bad!!!

Taping the show, it took us almost more then four hours shoot for 30min show (other knitster) got tired end of the show.... I didnt know 30min show took a four hour to shoot because we had a lot NG and mistaken also shot every word by word Show was great!!!

ONCE A LIFETIME meet a famous Vickies and Drew and other knitter!!!!!! I had great fun!!!

After shot: Drew was great guy. On the stage, he was working on fingerness gloves On right, designer "Annie" she was such great sweet lady.

Also surprisly, I saw famous known knitter"STEPHANIE" author of "Knitting Rules!" also ska "Yarn Harlot" She was taping the show also!!! You can visit her blog...about the show..I KNOW..Everybody are wondering why she was doing knitting green socks?

ALSO another great surprise: I saw "Michael Del Vecchi" bloger Aka Tricky Tricot author of "Knitting With Balls -The Frist Comtemporary guide to knitting for the MODERN MALE"

He was doing taping the show also!!!

I MEET THREE GREAT AUTHOR and KNITTER IN ONE DAY!!! I guess it was my lucky day!!!

The show will on late JANUARY 2007, so watch out for the show!!!!

It will be coming out January 28, 2007!!! Check this book out!!!

What Iam Doing On the Show? Me and other two knitter are knitting the dog sweater and matching hat!!!!

This was on my mail last week..IT WAS GREAT SURPRISED!!!! They send me yarn for hat and sweater to knit and with pattern... because i have start to knit hat, before show is start!!!

Also i was thinking 6 skine FREE "Malabrigo" yarn? IT is like a Heaven!!!! Almost 20 doller for one skine!!!!

Hi youguy!!! I am really sorry about didn't posting for long time.....I been busy teaching dyeing class and i had a really bad Ful, I dont know why i got sick alot. I was in death bed for almost week...Oh God....
So.. Not much thing going on here since last week, i just finshing the scarf for "Elemmaciltur"
I forgot to post the pic late time...He "Elemmaciltur" send me pair of Kolenya for a gift!!!!!

I love this so much!!! It is really cool to wear with jacket or T-shirt.
I remember does game when I was childhood.. All arcade game we use to play: PacMan, bomberMan and Galago.. IT was good stuff!!!

I almost felt, going buy this one for my self(I KNOW...WE HAVE SOOO MUCH SCARF...DONT need anymore)..but was thinking if i have a pattern i could knit this!

Searching for pattern, I found almost silmmer scarf at knitty.com... It's "Exchequered" Scarf...I really like this one..Planning to knit this for my friend!!!!!

Youguys know ROWAN yarn is very very expensive! Most price selling it for more then $10!!! Almost $50 save!!!

Do YOUGUYS WHAT IS THIS PINK SCARF FOR? Oh, Yes!!! This is scarf i made for "Breasts Cancer" Month!! I was due , Oct 15...This is pic i took after i finsh!!! It is really sad, because every each year many woman having breast caner..and many woman try hard to conqure there cancers!!!
To help them little things...It is really heartwarming , knit a pink scarf for them , help them there breasts cancer!!! "IT IS GOOD THING" Martha said.( MATHA RULE!!)

Think about the pink, I LOVE PINK COLOR!!! This is not only for girl!!!! MEN loves pink too!!!I love to wear pink t-shirt and scarf!!! Also i saw pink nike shoe, many guys wearing them.. oh my god!!! It is truth!!(Include gay guys..yes~~)

On WEEKEN~~~

This is another greatist busy weeken for me!!!
I mean I did everying thing!!!On Friday, I did all my laundry include my family..Oh My God~~~ Five basket of full laundry? and folding.... too much..That took me all night sleep arounf 2AM midnight...And Saturday morning 9:00AM i had a dentalist appointment, so had a painful treatment( I still doing my root treatment..) After eat lunch( I had a pasto pasta..made my self) and then gone to LYS "Simply Knitting" get my new yarn for next project. I spent almost $40..Yak!! I can't stand with does mouth watering yarn...I brought a five skien of Queensland Collection "Kathmandu DK" 85% merino wool, 10% silk, 5% cashmere yarn. It iwas really soft and its like a heaven met!!!Saturday night 7:00pm, we had a Weeken SnB Night so I teach guy how to knit and work on my "BRANCHING OUT"scarf. On Sunday, afternoon i watched Knittly Gritty and bake some cookie. WHAT A WEEKEN!!!

This is yarn i brought on saturday: "katjmandu DK" Color #406 SOOO SOFT!!!!

This cockie i made sunday: Coffee Espresso Cookie!!! Yummy!!

This is profect for eat with coffee or Tea!! Try!!So good!!!

How to make it:
You need a 2 stick of butter, 2 cups of Sugur power, 6 cups of flour, 1 egg, 2 teaspoon of vanilla, pinch of salt and most final 4 tablespoon of instant power coffee from the store!!!

1. Creame the butter with whisk ontil the butter soften.

2. On 1, add suger power and mix really will then add salt mix once again.

3. On 2, add egg together, mix will, then add shifted flour mix again.

4. On 3, add instant power coffee then Mix will. Cover the baking sheet with parchment paper or apray with cooking spray.

5. Pre Oven on 350 degree

6. Use ice cream scoop or spoon, put the dough on the baking sheet, back about 20 min!!

7. After 2o min, take it out from the oven and dust some suger-power!! DONE Injoy~~

Iam working on slowly..progress on Branching out lace scarf!! I hve a one more skien to go!!

I finshed the first skine today!!! I can't wait to finsh this scarf!! My long due!!!

I am waiting for long time finally got a first men knitting book today( I mean First time never writen men knitting book) It is "Knitting With Balls -The Frist Comtemporary guide to knitting for the MODERN MALE" by Michael Del Vecchi bloger Aka Tricky Tricot In this book, Michael designed lot of nice Sweaters and jacket also gear that mens are using!! Great photo and detile drawen chart..if you youguys(I mean guy) want to start knitting and already have been knitting, this is great book to have on your collection!!!

SICK!!! SICK!!! SICK!!!!

I have been sick for almost week..Didn't go to work for three day and just stay in bad!!!I have a really bad COLD...Somebody HELP ME PLEASE!!!

I did drink a lot of lemon and honny tea and other medicine all day...It didnt HELP ar all!!! I feel so horrible right now!!

Do youguys have any methhod or way help my cold please feed me back!!! I will try everything to get out this cold!!!
