Also today i got a call from "Knittly Gritty"!!!!I guess youguys know this knitting show.. The show is on DIY(Do it Yourself) channel host by author "Vickie Howell." I love watching every sunday!!!... I was really surprised and shocked because Joy(who schedule the KG show) call me saying that being a knitster on our show(if you see the show ..you know!!)!!! I Said "YES" right alway!! WOW!! Oh MY GOD!!! It is really happen!!! She saying to me show is filming every week and i can be on the show NOV 29th!!! I can not wait for next month!!! Will see what happen!! SEE MY APPEARANCE on "Knittly Gritty"December show!!!!

IT IS TIME FOR KNITTING SCARF!!!!

Do youguys miss me? I didnt post for a week ..it has been busyist days for me~~ School and work same time...Too Much!!! I did do not much knitting last week and iam really feel bad about it!!! I have so much knitting to do...and too much gift? Holiday is coming up and already 12 people sign up for scarf.... Talking about the Scarf, it is almost fall already!!! I go out to lunch yasterday..i saw lot of leaf turning into yellow and brown....Also cool weatherat night!!!! Living in CA..eveyboby loves cold weather here... That's the sign of scarf sesson!! i saw lot of bloger knitting scarf right now..oh YES!! Scarf is aways fun to make!!

I saw list about "10 reasons to Knit a Scarf" by great knitter Stepanie Pearl-McPhee from the magazin!!!!

I was ageed with her saying..Number 9? I was laughing so loud!!! LET's A Rob a bank together!!HEHE

1. Eveybody needs one. If you live in a warm place, a scarf is an accessory: if you live in a cold place( like Canada), it's necessity-all that stands between you and certain death.(Okay, not certsin death. Fostbite maybe; chilliness for sure!)

2. A friend of mine likes to say that a winter scarf is "caulking." Wound rounf your neck it bridges the difficult gap a cost leaves at the top and keeps all your heat form escaping.

3. No matter how many coats you won, by the time January rools around, you'll be sick to death of all of them. Owning 20 scarves adds a little color to the endless winter and lets you pretend that you have s different looks.

4. You can skip the gauge swatch with a scarf and have it matter not at all. How could a scarf not fit? (Don't answer that. I'm sure I'll find out.)

5. Scarves are varied in technical difficulry. You can do one in a plain garther stitch, or make a delicate lace wonder. You could knit nothing but scarves your whole knitting career, never repeat yourself, and learn almost every knitting technique.

6. Scarves are easy, at least mostly easy. If you're a beginning knitter, you can get a faulous yarn and let it do all the work.

7. Just a s there's comfort food, there's comfort knitting and a nice plain scarf out of simple delicious wool, knit back and forth in naive,mindless rows, is good for those days when anything more complex would make you cry.

8. A scarf is aways a welcome gift. Even if the recipient lives in Hawaii, a scarf made of a wee slip of silk will be gratefully received

9. If say, you were going to rob a bank(not that you would, that would be wrong) a scarf could be a vital part of your disguise.

10. The scarf is the the gateway to the shawl. There are only so many scarves you can knit before you feel an urge in the shawl direction.

I order long time ago(I guess 2005?) for big project.. for my mom...Knit GREAT LACE SHAWL!! I ordered at "Knitpicks" Sock Memories in Redwood Forest!!!! Total 8 skine!!!!!

This is pattern is from "Knitpicks"...Called "Home Sweet Home Memories" IT is Out of Print right now!!!SOOO SAD>>> Iam lucky to buy this pattern last year for sale!!! SUCH GREAT LACE Shawl!!! Simple and easy to knit!!!!

I just start to knit 10st ridges!! Look at the pic! Total 113 Sts..Oh YES!!! I LOVE THIS COLOR COMING OUT!!! It will be great match for my mom's dress she has!!!!! I will post more progress next week....BYE!!!!

Hey~~ Everybody!! It is Labor Day Weeken!! OFF work and great holiday!! Also Sadness day for me because my class start after day!! Finally break is over... It has been great summer over three month and O' MY GOD ..also waiting for winter break..Iam going to hawaii!!! wow Can't wait!!

Today i got a email about the "Rad Bad Beanie Project" from Knitzilla kintting group in Silverlake, CA. Check this out!!!


This is really nice thing they are doing for the teens --young women and men-- learning about their own abililties with the help of Big City Mountaineers. It is opportunities to build increased confidence and a higher sense of self esteem for teens. Hiking with volunteer, hard challenging and wildness self there self esteems. They need a donation...a beanie, some yarn, or some cash for support this project!!!!! The beanie also serves as a valued memento from a trip through a beautiful part of our country, and a time of personal growth. "Kintzilla" will be collect all the beanie together and send it to Big city Mountaineer!!!

Iam plan to make a five beanie for them,,, Martha Stewart say " It's good thing"!!! That's good thing to help out for teen!! PLEASE JOIN!!!

Back to my Scarf Story: Ta d...a,,,a......
I have big mass here..looks at this picture:

Do remember last post about "My SO Called Scarf?" This is what i came out with Knit picks yarn ""Shamrock." I thought this yarn is work for MSCS but it looks so bad!!It is hard to see the beautiful stitch and to it is not a soft wool so hard to knit with it!!

Also i was really hard time with this stitch..I was sooo fucking confuse this stitch..What is this fuckling this mean?

"sl 1, K1, psso but before dropping the slipped stitch from the left needle, knit into the back of it* repeat until there is one stitch left"

also
"P2tog, do not slip stitches off the needle, purl the first stitch again, slip both stitches off needle"

Did you find out?

I try and flogging for many time for a 3 hour..I finlly get the stitch!!! I Do NOT really recomment to this to baginer!!! TOO MUCH CONFUSSON!!!..I Tall ya!!!

So I Chage to other yarn such as leftover Knitpick "Shine" I had for long time!!!

Now you can see the great cross over stitchs!! WOW LOOK AT DOES!! GREAT!! The scarf looka like a baby-blue color but it is GRAY!!!!!

Iam going to wear with my new "Option-G" T-shirt i brought it online!!!!! It will be great match!! Dont you think? OLIVE with GRAY!!!
