Fall Style? YES It's Scarf

Hey guys! Sorry for not much knitting going this site. I did not much knitting since last summer and finlly I did little project this week. I saw new october's issue of men's fashion magazine, about the style with layering fall scarf. Like does, simple loose knited or weaved scarf round a neck I think it's really stylish and fashionable.

So this week, I did a little project myself knited simple stockinette scarf. I use 13 (9 mm) size need and two skein of texture yarn. Just loosely knit the scarf however you like. It is simple scarf and layering with simple t-shirt. I think just layering with scarf makes really cool homme look.

Both scarf knitted with Classic Elite "
Fame" (85% rayon and 15% silk). It's rainning here tonight in CA...It will perfect to layering with jacket tonight.

Knitty 2008 Fall Review

Hey youguys! Sorry for late post. Since last post, my fall class started september and busy working and studying. The fall is here and last week, weather was cool down to 70 in CA. I can feel a fall is finally coming soon. I planning to knitting scarf soon since weather gets colder here can't wait to wear hand knit scarf.

Anyway, on yesterday, I saw Ravery forum on Knitty group, about the fall new pattern. Guess what? Did youguys guess? Finally
NEW Knitty fall has published this week.

First of all, same as usual... In my opinion, in this fall issue was beautiful and urban style feel. All the fall patterns are really charming and useful. GO OVER to
KNITTY and CHECK OUT THE PATTARN!

One of my three favorite picks of Knitty fall pattern is "
Retrofit" by Jesse Loesberg . I think everbody knows who is Jesse. He is first guy desiger featured in Knitty issues. Many of his design such as famous "Danica" Entrelac scarf, "Halfdome" hat and "Avast" zip-up sweater. You guys can see his blog here at Yarnboy blog.

I really like this simple zip-up sweater. It's dark color on the main body and lighter color on sleeves and necks to shows silmless and sensual feel. Great versatile sweater any time.

Next, "Baroque" by Janice Kang. I Know.. It's sounds like a great pair of stitch pattern for the fall weather, Don't you think? In this fall knitty issue, can't belive there is total four socks pattern in this issue. One of pattern that I think this can also great men socks too. Love the design of cable going on the leg and cable on the end of toes.

Best of last, I think this awesome "Morgan" English driving cap is the hit for this fall knitty issue. It's stylish an any yarns works on this cap. Also it is great thing, cap is knit up in one piece and only requires the most minimal of grafting. Can't wait to cast this hat.

---------------- Feel Good MUSIC--------------------

"Wish" by Kevin Steinman

Also big Think You to Shrile at "Belle of the Ball" podcast for great shout and the musics. Youguys chack out her weekly knittying podcast and music! It is great!

Have a safe and fun week! Bye~

What is Bohemian Look?

In this fall, lot of stylist saying that Bohemian look will be the number one hit for this fall style.

What that means is that trousers tucked into boots, scarves, hats.....Bohemian is a term for being "off-beat, artsy and unusual. The short sweater which ties in front comes crocheted or knited, embroidered, and in satin. Also known as a shrug, the sweater can be worn over a shirt to add texture or warmth on a cooler fall day. Layering and longer camisoles and shirts are also part of the whole bohemian look.

Also in men's fashion, knited sweaters, dressy button-downs, blazers and woven shirts are popular, according to Gap's fall style. Layering and fitted styles, along with fall colors, shape the male wardrobe.

The guys will instead opt for spiritual, John Deer and humorous one-liner tees Striped and solid polos continue to be a very strong trend in popular colors like green, pink, orange, Carolina blue and red. As the weather cools, guys will layer a long-sleeved tee under a short-sleeved polo, tee or button-down shirt.

Also more style will be jacket with jeans, at all times of the day and night. Or sometimes, tux jacket with sweatpants. It's the kind of dressy rocker look you might associate with his close friend.

I think white suit jacket is must have cody thing styling Bohemian look.
