Also fact about Pink:
- In 1947, fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli introduced the color hot pink into western fashion. She dubbed the shade "Shocking Pink", though today the color is more associated as "magenta".
- Since the color pink is said to have a tranquilizing effect, sport's teams sometime paint the locker room, to be used by their opposing teams, pink.
- Some studies of the color pink suggest that male weightlifters seem to lose strength in pink rooms, while women weightlifters tend to become stronger around the color.
- Pastries taste better when they come out of pink boxes or served on pink plates (it only works with sweets). Pink makes us crave sugar.

Socks? You? Your first pair?
I'm looking forward to that post!
Those are some neat things about pink.
Is that other yarn Paton's SWS in that picture?
Great yarn and great scarf. I want to know how your socks turned out. I haven't done socks, ever, and lately I have been getting inspired to try a pair. It is all about the yarn!!

Wow, I'll have to use Pink a lot more often. Maybe that's why a lot of macho guys won't wear pink . . . they're afraid of its challenging strength.
Anyways, sorry I fell off the face of the Earth for a while. I'm really glad to see that you're still blogging :)
So I found a project to use that yarn you sent me on...I'm making Clapotis with it!!!!
You have to send me more yarn so I can make more fun things LOL ;-)
BTW I LOVED the stitch markers!
